Build tiny robots, powered by vibrating motors, made from scrub brushes and toothbrush heads. Test them on the obstacle course track and tune them up for performance. Then race against everyone’s best brushbots for the championship!

Brushbots or bristlebots have been around for at least 25 years, descended from wind-up vibrobots that used a clockwork mechanism. They can be as simple as a motor, a brush, and a power source, or they can be carefully tuned, tweaked, and decorated for speed and personality.

Materials are included, and pizza will be provided for lunch. Attendees will get to bring home their creations, and prizes will be awarded for design and performance!

Brushbot Races are great for kids from elementary school through middle school.
Ages 6+. Under 11 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (parent/guardian attendance is free with a paid participant ticket).
