Constructive Destruction (and Art!) (12/29/2025)

Take apart everyday objects to see how they’re put together. Find cool-looking parts, mechanical and electronic elements where function leads to interesting form. Then build art from the pieces.

A more involved version of the activities we bring to events like Maker Faire Providence & Bring Back the Trades, Constructive Destruction is popular with kids from elementary school through middle school (and sometimes adults, too!).

Ages 6+. Under 11 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. (parent/guardian attendance is free with a paid participant ticket).
