Intro to Maslow CNC
Introductory course covering basic safety and operation of the Maslow CNC router at Mill Forge Makerspace. The Maslow is an open source hardware CNC router built for cutting sheet goods like plywood and thin stock up to about 1″ in depth. It’s often used for signage and art pieces. This class will cover basic care and feeding of the machines and use of the control software.
Anticipated coverage will include:
- Components of the open-source Maslow CNC router
- Using Carbide Create to generate gCode
- WebControl control gCode sender software for Maslow CNC router
- Configuration and recovery for typical CNC projects and issues


Attendees will be able to select and cut or engrave an item on the laser cutter and will work together on a small CNC project.
