Turn-Pro Horizontal Bandsaw

Manufacturer

Turn-Pro

Model

712-G

Description

Metal-cutting bandsaw that can be operated in a horizontal position for gravity-regulated cutting or oriented as a vertical bandsaw for rough shape cutting.

Capacity: 7″ round, 7″ x 12″ cross-section rectangular stock
Blade size: 93.5″ x 0.75″

Notes/Tips

This saw has a cooling system that sprays coolant fluid over the cutting surface. For small cuts, coolant is not needed, but large or long-duration cuts (e.g., more than 1″ thickness or hardened steel) require coolant to be pumped over the workpiece and blade.

Repositioning the saw for vertical orientation requires that the base plate be screwed into the blade guides. Do not operate vertically without the base plate installed.

Training Requirements

  1. Read and understand manuals linked below
  2. Read and understand [OSHA guidelines if available]
